Volunteers handing donation boxes to a neighbour

Community is the context for discipleship. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation — for relationship shapes us, restores us and sends us out. Nowhere is that clearer than in our Compassion Outreach teams, where ordinary members carry extraordinary love into prisons, hospitals and housing estates.

Every month, forty volunteers visit the county correctional facility — not with judgment, but with Bibles, listening ears and the simple message that no past is too dark for grace. Twelve inmates were baptised this spring, and three now serve on the warehouse crew after release.

Love With Its Sleeves Rolled Up

Spreading the gospel was never meant to be a slogan. It looks like food parcels on doorsteps, blankets in winter shelters, school bags in September and prayer at hospital bedsides. Our teams log over 900 volunteer hours a month — each hour a small sermon without words.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

Mark 16:15

Your Next Step

You don't need a title to join the mission — just a willing heart. Come to one warehouse Saturday, ride along on one delivery, pray with one family. The gospel spreads the way it always has: one life touching another. Explore our ministries or fuel the mission with a gift.
